PD.ALPHA.MINER

You are here:

AXCEL.PD.ALPHA.MINER function

This function is part of Process Discover (PD) functions in Axcel and applies Alpha Miner on input data. Alpha Miner is one of the process discovery algorithms. The algorithm scans the sequences in the event log for ordering relations and builds Petri Net graph.

Syntax

AXCEL.PD.ALPHA.MINER(data)

The AXCEL.PD.ALPHA.MINER function syntax has the following arguments:

data Required. This is a table of events and should be structured in the order of record, process, resource, and timestamp as follows:

record process resource timestamp
record 1 process xresource y 2012-01-02T12:23:00.000+01:00

Here is an example based on patient data. You can pull this data by executing AXCEL.DATASETS(“patients-process-mining”). Considering you pulled your data in cell A1#, you need to run:

=AXCEL.PD.ALPHA.MINER(A1#)

Here is the outcome:

For example, from above graph you can easily see that all of 100 patients had the blood test and physical test and 90 people had X-ray.
